Boiler commissioning service

Enfield Heating also offers a commissioning service for both trade and DIY Customers.

For the DIY enthusiast, you can save money by completing all the installation work knowing that your boiler will be fully tested and certified by a Gas Safe Register engineer.

 

The full time plumber can avoid all the rules and regulations, costs and time off work for training and assessment can still undertake gas work.

Enfield heating offers the perfect solution


For a fee from as little as £50 we will undertake the gas connection of your new boiler.

In addition to boiler connection we can undertake electrical works associated with the boiler and again issue the relevant building control certificates.

Our complete range of commissioning services include:

  • Testing and safe disconnection of existing boiler
  • Advice on fluing, plume management, condensate disposal, pressure relief discharge, energy efficiency and heating controls
  • Connection of gas and electrical supplies, commissioning and notification.
  • Electrical work associated with boiler including connection of additional circuits from consumer unit and certification (sections B c1 and c2 )
  • Advice on installation of unvented cylinders (megaflo or equivalent ), commissioning and notification.

Commissioning Fees

Full boiler commissioning service including Benchmark Certificate and Notification to Building Control.

Within 10 miles of Enfield - £125.00 plus VAT
Within 3 hours of London - £250 plus VAT plus travelling expenses.

Fees assume maximum 2 hours time on site. If further time is required, this will be charged at £50 per hour.
Please Note: These Fees apply whether your boiler achieves a pass or a fail.

A comprehensive check list with full explanatory notes of all items examined in the commissioning process is available for £40.00 plus vat to help ensure a pass.
